Mahindra Bolero is a familiar name in the Indian market. For those of you who don't know, the SUV has been in the Mahindra's line up for 20 years now. Yes, that's true. The UV is basically popular in the rural areas as it possesses the quality of low maintenance yet being a powerful and a rugged vehicle. However, there are some people who have a thing for this UV and here we have an example of a modified Mahindra Bolero.

Now, before we go any further, this modified Mahindra Bolero packs in performance tune as well as heavily customised off-roading equipment. This UV is improved to look aesthetically pleasing and demands you to take her anywhere but the roads.
Coming to the list of modifications then it packs in a 2.5-litre CRDe turbocharged diesel engine under the hood. It gets a turbo upgrade and the power figures are expected to see triple digits. The stock 2.5L used to make 70 bhp which got replaced by the smaller 1.5L diesel unit ahead of BS6 emission norms.

To further increase the ground clearance, the SUV also gets a Profender 4x4 Suspension Upgrade with a Lift Kit. The headlights on the Bolero remains stock but there is a bar light on top of the bumper and auxiliary fog lights to further increase the illumination in the night.

This SUV also sees several custom modifications like the front bumper while now gives a better approach and departure angle. You also see a custom off-road snorkel, roof rack, rock sliders, fenders and at the rear, there is a straight pipe exhaust system.
Sharing details on the tyres then 15-inch 10 J rims which get wrapped in 31-inch Accelera Mud Terrain tyres. The SUV also sees a custom paint job with decals at the side and rear profile. Thar orange board you see at the bonnet is the traction board. The main benefit of keeping a traction board handy comes when you are stuck in an off-road patch. They are easier to use and provides friction between the tyres and the surface beneath.
