In this article, we will be sharing the list of the top 11 CNG cars that are available in India under Rs 10 lakh.
Maruti Alto
The most popular car from the Maruti's stable, Alto is available with both petrol and CNG fuel options. It uses the identical 0.8-litre motor with the CNG but now makes less power and peak torque figures. This engine generates 40 bhp with 60 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The ARAI certified fuel economy of this hatchback is 31.59 km/kg. Maruti Alto is the most affordable CNG car in India that is priced from Rs 4.89 lakh to Rs 4.94 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

Maruti S-Presso
Also known as the mini SUV by the carmaker, S-Presso CNG is priced at Rs 5.23 lakh for the LXI and Rs 5.55 lakh for the VXI(O). It uses a 1.0L, three-cylinder motor that generates 58 bhp at 5500 RPM with a peak torque of 78 Nm at 3500 RPM. Feature-wise, it gets a single-din music system with Bluetooth and Aux connectivity, manual AC, front power windows and more. The S-Presso delivers 31.19 km/kg.
Maruti Eeco
One of the most affordable vans in the Indian market right now, Eeco CNG is offered in a single variant only and gets a sticker price of Rs 5.89 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Under the hood, Eeco is equipped with a 1.2-litre, G-series engine and produces 62 bhp with 85 Nm of maximum torque. It is a rear-wheel-drive van and the ARAI certified mileage sticks to 20.88 km/kg. Safety features on the Maruti Eeco CNG include dual airbags at the front, rear parking sensors, front seat belt warning, ABS with EBD and child safety lock.
Maruti Wagon R
Maruti Wagon R has been in the market for more than two decades and the CNG version is paired to a 1.0L petrol motor. This unit churns out 58 bhp of power on tap with a healthy torque of 78 Nm. It also delivers 32.52 kg/km. As per the reports on the internet, Maruti might bring in a CNG with the bigger 1.2L motor as well in the future. Maruti offers Wagon R CNG in two variants - LXI and LXI(O). The prices for the same stick to Rs 6.11 lakh and Rs 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

Hyundai Santro
India's second-largest carmaker, Hyundai, offers the Santro CNG with the Magna and Sportz variant. Both are priced at Rs 6.10 lakh and Rs 6.38 lakh respectively. The ARAI certified fuel economy of the Santro CNG sticks to 30 km/kg. Feature-wise, Santro gets equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear AC vents, all-four power windows, steering mounted controls and more.
Maruti Celerio
The latest entrant to Maruti's S-CNG technology, the new Celerio CNG is priced at Rs 6.58 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi and is offered in a single variant, VXI, only. Mechanically, Celerio CNG is powered with the identical motor as the Wagon R, however, both power and torque figures are different. This one produces 56 bhp on tap with a peak torque of 82 Nm. The ARAI certified mileage of Celerio CNG is 35.60 km/kg and this motor gets mated to a 5-speed stick shift only.
Tata Tiago
The latest entrant to the CNG line-up, Tiago CNG is the safest hatchback in the market right now with a global NCAP rating of 4-stars. Powered by the same 1.2L, three-cylinder motor as found in the petrol one, the CNG version now produces 72 bhp of power on tap with 95 Nm of peak torque. Tata Tiago CNG is available in multiple variants like XE, XM, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Dual Tone. This hatchback is priced from Rs 6.10 lakh to Rs 7.65 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
One of the better-looking CNG cars in the market and with features loaded up to the brim, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG is priced at Rs 7.06 lakh for the Magna variant and Rs 7.60 lakh for the Sportz trim. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder motor that churns out 68 bhp with 95 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is offered as standard fitment on this one.
Hyundai Aura
Hyundai Aura CNG is offered in a single variant, S, and is priced at Rs 7.74 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Powered by the same 1.2L motor as found in the Nios CNG, the ARAI certified mileage of Aura sticks to 28 km/kg on this one. Feature-wise, the S variant is equipped with a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, front and rear cupholders, electrically adjustable ORVMs, LED daytime running lights, a 2-din music system with four speakers, steering mounted controls and more. Hyundai is also providing a warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km, whichever is at the earliest.
Tata Tigor
One of the strongest rivals to the Hyundai Aura CNG, the Tigor CNG is priced from Rs 7.70 lakh to Rs 8.42 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It is also the only compact sedan in the market that comes with a global NCAP crash rating of 4 stars. Safety features on the Tigor CNG include rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, seat belt warning, dual airbags, child safety lock and speed sensing door lock. Tata Tigor CNG is offered in three variants - XZ, XZ+ and XZ+ Dual Tone.

Maruti Ertiga
Offered in a single-variant, VXI, Ertiga CNG is priced at Rs 9.86 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated motor that generates 91 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 122 Nm. Maruti Ertiga CNG delivers 26.20 km/kg mileage.
