Recently, Toyota increased the prices of their popular models, the Innova Crysta and Fortuner. Now, the Japanese carmaker has also increased the prices of their popular hybrid model, Camry. Toyota Camry now retails at Rs 45.25 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It gets a hike of Rs 1.80 lakh over the older price tag.
Powering the Camry Hybrid is a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder engine that pumps out 176 bhp of power with a peak torque of 221 Nm. This engine is coupled to an electric motor which pumps out a peak power and torque of 118 bhp and 202 Nm, respectively. It gets mated with an eCVT unit and gets three drive modes which are - Sport, Eco and Normal.

Feature-wise, Camry Hybrid is equipped with a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, three-zone climate control, 10-way electrically adjustable front seats, power assisted tilt and telescopic steering wheel, head-up display, wireless phone charger, cruise control, electric sunroof and more.
Safety equipment on the premium hybrid sedan includes as many as nine airbags, hill start assist control, park assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic parking brake, speed sensing door lock, ISOFIX child seat mount, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control, traction control, reverse parking sensors and more.

Toyota offers 3 year or 1 lakh km warranty on the Camry Hybrid while the warranty for the battery sticks to 8 years/1,60,000 km. There's no direct rival to this sedan but it surely falls in the price category of Skoda Superb, Mercedes-Benz A-Class and Audi A4.
