The Sport defined the aesthetic appeal from the outside only. 16-inch black coloured alloy wheels, side skirts, blacked-out front end with chrome highlights on the grille, dark grey colour front and rear bumper lip were some of the cosmetic updates from the regular variants.

The interiors of the Touring Sport carried more changes than the exteriors. Like the faux wood with red scheme present on the dashboard, leather-wrapped steering wheel with red stitching, red background illumination for the instrument cluster are some of the changes the Touring Sport got from the regular versions.

Earlier, the larger 2.8L diesel was also available but it was soon discontinued when the country shifted towards the BS6 norms. The petrol makes 163 bhp at 5,200 rpm with a peak torque of 245 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The diesel makes 148 bhp at 3,400 rpm and a peak torque of 343 Nm at 1,400 rpm. Both the engine gets a 5-speed manual unit and an optional 6-speed automatic gearbox.
