The Toyota Innova Hycross gets a strong-hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.0-litre petrol unit paired with a strong hybrid unit combining together to produce around 190PS. This power is delivered to the front wheels. A petrol-only powertrain with an output of around 174PS and max torque of 204 Nm is also on offer, but a diesel with the Innova moniker rests with Crysta exclusively.
The hybrid powertrain has a fuel efficiency of 21.1kmpl while the normal petrol claims 16.13 kmpl.
VERDICT- With this second round of price hike of Hycross, it gets even more expensive than before. Meanwhile, the normal petrol variants carry on with their former price tags, The hybrid versions getting dearer might be an effect of the monumental demand that the Japanese carmaker is currently witnessing.
