Citroen is now all set to expand its Indian portfolio with the launch of the new C3 in the country. The C3 is long-awaited in the country and will be the brand's most affordable offering in the country. The car has been spied on test on multiple occasions. Having said this, as per the recent online reports, the Citroen C3 is expected to be offered with two engine options. Here are all the details that you should check about the upcoming Citroen C3.
For starters, the new Citroen C3 will be placed under Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will take on the other compact SUVs that include Nissan Magnite, Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, and more. The Italian carmaker is expected to offer two petrol engine options with the C3 - 1.2-L NA petrol and 1.2-L turbocharged petrol engine. We have seen the same engine options being offered with a number of other Groupe PSA cars in the international markets. While the 1.2-L NA petrol engine churns out 80 bhp, the 1.2-L bhp turbo-petrol on the other hand is offered in two states of tune - 108 bhp and 128 bhp.

Having said this, C3 in India is expected to be offered with a 108bhp 1.2-L engine that will be offered with both manual as well as automatic gearbox. While the brand is yet to reveal any details, we are expecting the car to be offered with either a seven-speed DCT gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter unit. The Citroen C3, when compared to the rivals, is expected to offer a better in-cabin experience and comfort. The C5 Aircross in India is famous for its comfort and we expect the C3 to be no different. More details however will only be known after the official launch of the car in India.
