The French automaker, Citroen is preparing to introduce the C3 sub-four meter SUV in India in July. Citroen C3 has been spotted before, but this time the SUV was spotted in a parking area, and some clear images of the upcoming SUV's exterior and interior have surfaced. The pictures are shared by Evo India on their Instagram. The white Citroen C3 with test number plates demonstrates the SUV's design and interior layout.

The upcoming C3 will be based on the Stellantis CMP platform. When it comes to the C3's exterior design, the front has a distinctive Citroen chrome grille and split headlamps that look to be influenced by the C5 Aircross. The SUV has blackened pillars and roof rails on the sides, as well as cladding around the wheel arches. Although the vehicle in the image rides on 15-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, the higher-spec variant may get 16-inch alloy wheels.

The images reveal a huge touch-screen infotainment system on the inside, moving on, the centre air-conditioning vents are distinctive, and the front dash has a hollow textured effect. Other noteworthy features are two spacious cup holders in the centre console and bottle holders in the door trim, respectively. Inside the cabin, there are also some other useful storage areas below the centre aircon vents. The Citroen C3 will come with a three-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.

On the inside, the C3 will have USB ports, a 12V outlet, and steering-mounted controls, as well as a 10-inch floating touchscreen entertainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Near the screen, a smartphone holder will be accessible. Dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS, and EBD are among the safety features.
Citroen C3 Engine
The powertrain specifications have yet to be revealed by Citroen, but the C3 is expected to debut in India with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. A 5-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission will be available.
According to some reports, select Citroen dealerships have begun taking reservations for the upcoming entry-level car from the French automaker, which is set to debut in late June or early July 2022.
