For the Indian market, Honda India is developing a new SUV that will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and other SUVs in the same segment. A new Honda SUV will break covers in coming months, the brand has hinted in a teaser for the upcoming model. Recently, a heavily camouflaged test mule of the upcoming Honda SUV has been spotted on Indian roads. Even though the SUV was completely masked it has given some design cues about the upcoming vehicle.

Upcoming Honda SUV
The SUV's front profile borrows certain styling cues from the internationally available HR-V and WR-V SUVs. A large grille and stylish LED DRLs and headlights are visible at the front. The upright bonnet and windscreen, which resemble an SUV, make the front profile appear more muscular overall. The alloy wheels are wrapped on the sides, yet they seem to have a diamond cut, sportier appearance. The number plate recess is in the middle of the tailgate, and the rear end will get a wraparound LED tail lamp with a halogen turn indication.
We anticipate it will include all the modern features inside, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system, leather upholstery, a digital instrument panel, wireless charging, automated climate control, and other features. Also, we may anticipate improved safety features including the incorporation of Honda Sensing technology.

Upcoming Honda SUV Powertrain
The same 1.5-liter petrol engine and a potent hybrid petrol engine used in the fifth-generation Honda City will handle the powertrain responsibilities. The new engine complies with RDE standards.
