Tata Curvv Spotted
The recently seen test mule was hidden under heavy camouflage, but it gave us a peek at the upcoming vehicle. Even though the brand already showed the full SUV at the Auto Expo Motor Show, the actual production model might have a few differences. The test model had mirrors similar to the new Nexon, and the SUV has a roof that looks like a coupe, making it stand out from other SUVs. The Curvv will have a sporty design, and at the back, it will have a stop lamp on the tailgate, just like the Nexon.
In terms of features, the Curvv will offer ventilated front seats, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Additionally, it will include a touch-sensitive HVAC panel, wireless smartphone connectivity, auto-dimming inside rearview mirrors, an air purifier, wireless charging, a sunroof, and a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo.

Tata Curvv Expected Powertrains
According to the latest information circulating, the Curvv will be launched in three different powertrain options. This lineup will include an electric version with a range of around 500 kilometers on a single charge. Alongside the electric variant, Tata plans to unveil an internal combustion engine (ICE) version featuring a new 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine. This particular engine can generate 125 PS of maximum power and 225 Nm of peak torque. To complement this engine, Tata may equip the ICE Curvv with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT) gearbox, similar to the one currently available with the Nexon facelift.
Verdict
The Tata Curvv appears to be a strong contender in the competitive mid-size SUV segment. Offering three powertrain options, Tata Motors aims to appeal to a wide range of customers. The electric variant will draw in those interested in electric vehicles, while the internal combustion engine (ICE) options will attract enthusiasts who appreciate powerful performance. Tata Curvv will compete with the Hyundai Creta, KIA Seltos, Honda Elevate and other mid-size SUVs.
