Earlier this year Volkswagen introduced the BS6 version of both Polo and Vento with a new 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine. Just recently Volkswagen has announced that the bookings for the automatic versions of Polo and Vento can be done via the website or at dealerships.
Along with the bookings of the AT gearbox of both Polo and Vento, Volkswagen has also introduced the top of the line GT TSI variant of the Polo. The prices of the top-spec GT TSI sticks to Rs 9.67 lakh while for the Highline Plus of the Vento which comes with four airbags is priced at Rs 12.99 lakh. Please note, all these prices stick with ex-showroom, Delhi.
Sharing more details on the engines then both the cars get a 1.0L turbocharged petrol motor. This one makes 110 PS with 175 Nm of peak torque. The ARAI certified mileage of Polo AT is 16.47 km/l while that of Vento AT is 16.35 km/l.

With the introduction of the GT TSI variant, it has now become the top-spec version of the Polo. It comes with GTI inspired seats, black ORVM caps, black rear spoiler and dual airbags. For the Vento Highline Plus AT, it now gets four airbags and LED headlights which offer better illumination at night.
Another addition is that the deliveries for both Polo GT TSI and Vento Highline Plus AT will start from September 15, 2020. Also, the AT gearbox will be seen on the second to the top variant of Polo that is Highline Plus and that of Vento which is Highline. The deliveries of these will commence in October.
