Volkswagen Virtus Teased Ahead Of The Launch - Reveals More Details!

The Volkswagen Virtus will soon be introduced in the Indian market and will be replacing the decade-old Vento in the brand's line-up. To be launched under the India 2.0 program, the Virtus will be the second car based on the MQB A0 IN platform to be launched in the Indian market. While the car will make its debut on 8th March 2022, the German carmaker recently teased the front of the Virtus, hence revealing a lot of details. Here is everything that you should know about the upcoming VW Virtus.

For starters, the new Virtus will be offered with a premium and elegant styling that will give it an impressive road presence. The new tease image also suggests that the new car will be offered with LED projector lights and LED DRLs while the bumper too gets aggressive cuts. The Virtus will be larger than the Vento and is expected to be offered with dual-cut alloy wheels, passive entry request sensors, power-operated ORVMs, shark fin antenna, etc. Likewise, the build quality will be impressive and better than most of the rivals.

The interiors of the Virtus too will get a major update and will offer an impressive in-cabin experience. On the features front, the upcoming Virtus is expected to be offered with a new touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto while other features like auto-climate control, wireless charging and digital instrument console too will be offered with the Virtus. Needless to say, the new Virtus will offer a feature rich and a premium cabin that will help it have an edge over many of the rivals.

The engine options are expected to be shared with the Skoda Slavia and the Virtus will be available with two engine options - 1.5L TSI and 1.0L TSI motor. These engine will come mated to manual as well as automatic gearbox. The suspension setup too will offer a mature setup and will boast impressive ride-handling balance.
