Toyota has updated the waiting time for the Innova Hycross, and the good news is that the wait has gotten shorter, now standing at up to 52 weeks. For petrol options, there's G (7S), G (8S), GX (7S), and GX (8S). If you prefer hybrids, you can go for VX (7S), VX (8S), ZX, or ZX (O) trims. The Innova Hycross comes with two powertrain options: a standard petrol engine and a petrol-hybrid system. Both are paired with a CVT transmission powering the front wheels.
The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 172bhp and 197Nm torque, while the hybrid system, using the same engine, incorporates Toyota's fifth-generation strong hybrid technology for a combined output of 183bhp.
Verdict
The extended waiting period for the new Innova Hycross is actually good news for those eager to receive their cars sooner. However, unfortunately, bookings for the top variant are still on hold. So, for customers eyeing the top variant, the awaited good news is yet to arrive.
