Yamaha India has launched fresh additions to the FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 DLX lineup with the introduction of two vibrant colors. These new options, named Ice Fluo-Vermillion and Cyber Green, were showcased earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Priced at Rs. 1.3 lakhs ex-showroom, they inject a refreshing vibe into the FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 DLX, enhancing its appeal. Yamaha FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 DLX: 2 New Stellal Shades Introduced
In the Ice Fluo-Vermillion shade of the Yamaha FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 DLX , the headlamp unit and fuel tank sport a pristine white hue. Accentuating the look further is a striking black and red graphics on the fuel tank. Completing the ensemble, the rims are adorned in vibrant red. The infusion of white in this new color scheme instills a renewed freshness, standing out from the comparatively subdued tones of the FZ's palette.
As for the Cyber Green option, it presents a richer olive tone adorning both the tank and headlight cowl. While the badging and graphics maintain a consistent theme, it adopts a sleek black and dark green palette. Adding a pop of vibrancy, the wheel rims are accented with a bright yellowish green hue.
The addition of these two colorways takes the whole palette to a selection of shades to choose from namely- Racing Blue, Ice Fluo-Vermillion, Cyber Green, Metallic Grey, Majesty Red, and Matte Black. The motorcycle comes equipped with front telescopic fork suspension and rear 7-step adjustable monocross suspension, complemented by tubeless tires both at the front and rear. Safety features include a single-channel ABS system, with disc brakes measuring 282 mm at the front and 220 mm at the rear.
Engine Details
The FZ-S Fi Version 4.0 DLX retains its powertrain, featuring a 149cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine generating 12.4bhp at 7250rpm and 13.3Nm at 5,500rpm. It remains coupled with a five-speed gearbox. Meanwhile, in terms of rivals, it rubs shoulders with the likes of Bajaj Pulsar N160, Suzuki Gixxer, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, and others.
Verdict
The new colour options with thoughtful tweaks make the potent motorcycle even more appealing than before. Continuing with the time-tested mechanicals, it now offers an expanded list of colour options to impart a fresh aesthetic to the bike, amking it better equipped to take on the rivalry.
