Yamaha Motor India is preparing to launch the all-new Yamaha FZ-X in the country very soon. The new Yamaha FZ-X will be launched in India in the coming months and now, ahead of its official launch, it has been spied in its full glory. The upcoming new Yamaha FZ-X has been recently spied during a TVC shoot in Himachal Pradesh and these new images reveal a lot of details.
The upcoming new Yamaha FZ-X was spied during its TVC shoot which was taking place near the Atal Tunnel in Himachal Pradesh. These new images reveal some interesting details about the production-spec motorcycle. For starters, it gets a circular all-LED headlamp with a round-shaped LED DRL. The motorcycle looks heavily inspired by the Yamaha XSR series. It also gets fork cover gaiters, a metallic front mudguard, engine bash plate and more.

The new Yamaha FZ-X seems to get a matte finish on the body panels and a complete blacked-out treatment on other parts of the motorcycle. The FZ-X will feature a single-piece seat, muscular fuel tank and a slim rear-end. The specifications of the FZ-X have already leaked on the internet and it will get a wheelbase of 1330 mm just like the FZ-S V3. However, while the FZ-S V3 measures 1990 mm x 780 mm x 1080 mm, the FZ-X will measure 2020 mm x 785 mm x 1115 mm. The new FZ-X will also get the same mill as the FZ-S V3.
The new FZ-X will be powered by a BS6 compliant 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor will churn out 12.4 PS of power at 7250 RPM and 13.6 Nm of peak torque at 5500 RPM. The engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
