Yamaha R15 & the MT-15 V2 prices have been hiked yet once again. The latest price hike has resulted in a cost increment of up to Rs 1,000.
- Second price hike since August 2022
- R15 is now costlier by up to Rs 1,000
- MT-15 V2 prices are now hiked by up to Rs 500
Yamaha India seems to be on a price hike roller coaster. Just after increasing the prices of its bike range in August, the new price hike is here. Yes, the Yamaha R15 & MT-15 V2 bike prices are now up again by up to Rs 1,000. The new price hike seems relatively smaller when compared to the August price increments.

Yamaha R15 Price Hike Details
The Yamaha R15 is undoubtedly the most popular product for the brand in India. However, its success is now being used to earn profits by the company. A hike of Rs 1,000 has now taken over the R15 range of bikes. This is the second price hike since past August. Moreover, it is the third price hike since past April 2022. However, the price hike stands only for the R15M, R15M MotoGP Edition, & the 60th GP Edition of it. The new prices in the range are as below:
R15M - Rs 1,89,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
R15M MotoGP Edition - Rs 1,91,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
R15M WGP Edition - Rs 1,91,300 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Meanwhile, the bike remains technically and cosmetically unchanged. The 155cc, single-cylinder, the liquid-cooled engine continues powering the sports bike. It uses a VVA tech which helps in making a peak power of 18.1 bhp & peak torque of 14.2 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed transmission with a slipper-assist clutch function as well.
MT-15 V2 Price Hike Details
Now, speaking of the naked sports bike MT-15 V2; it has also undergone a minimal revision. The last price hike for it undertook in the previous August. However, the current price hike is of just Rs 500 unlike the previous price revision of Rs 1,500. This price revision has taken place for all of the colour options. The new prices of the MT-15 V2 are as below:
Metallic Black - Rs 1,63,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Ice Fluo, Racing Blue, Cyan Storm - Rs 1,64,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
MotoGP Edition - Rs 1,65,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Apart from the price change, the bike remains unchanged completely. It continues using the 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine uses a VVA tech which makes a peak power of 18.1 bhp and a peak torque of 14.1 Nm. A 6-speed transmission has been fitted as well. Its main rival in India is the KTM Duke 125.
