The Virtus, Volkswagen's most anticipated mid-size car, has finally arrived. The VW Virtus has a comprehensive array of features as well as two turbo petrol engine choices. The sedan is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform and is part of VW Group's India 2.0 strategy. There are two versions of the VW Virtus: Dynamic Line and Performance Line.
A 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 114 bhp of power and 178 Nm of peak torque powers the Dynamic Line. Either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission is available with this engine. The Performance Line, on the other hand, is equipped with a 1.5-litre TSI EVO engine that produces 148 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. A seven-speed DSG transmission is mated to the engine.

This is VW Virtus' entry-level model, and it comes with pretty much all of the essential features for comfort and safety. The 1.0-litre engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission in this model.
