Maruti has finally launched the 2022 Grand Vitara at a price of Rs 10.45 lakh for the base variant and it goes all the way to Rs 19.65 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. This car is available in two engine options and also gets AWD as an option which is first in the segment.

The above prices are in monotone colours. Dual-tone colour options are available at an additional price of Rs 16,000. The dual-tone variants are as follows - Alpha, Zeta+ and Alpha+.
Under the hood, the Grand Vitara is powered by two engine options - a 1.5L mild hybrid motor and a 1.5L strong hybrid. The latter is a three-cylinder motor that pumps out a usable power and torque of 114 bhp and 122 Nm, respectively. This engine gets mated to an e-CVT unit and delivers an ARAI-certified mileage of 27.97 kmpl.

The other motor is a 1.5-litre, mild hybrid motor that is also seen in the XL6. It generates 102 bhp of power with a peak torque of 136.8 Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission as standard and a six-speed torque converter as an option is observed with this motor.
This engine also gets the option of AWD but that set-up is available only with the 5-speed MT unit. The ARAI-certified mileage sticks to 21.11 kmpl for the 5-speed MT, 20.58 kmpl for the 6-speed AT and 19.38 kmpl for the AWD MT.
Feature-wise, the SUV is equipped with a 360-degree camera, head-up display, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging dock, 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated cooled front seats and more.

Safety-wise, it gets as many as six airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program, hill-hold assist, all-wheel disc brakes, hill descent control, tyre-pressure monitoring system, front seat-belt reminder, a high-speed alert system and more.
Maruti Grand Vitara is made available in six monotone colours and three dual-tone colours.
