Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 CNG
The CNG cylinder for the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 CNG is factory installed. The car's engine is a 3-cylinder, 1.0-liter petrol engine with naturally aspirated fuel. However, the power is constrained to 56 bhp and 82 Nm of peak torque in CNG mode. The only transmission available for this engine is a five-speed manual. The Alto K10 CNG sticks have a fairly decent fuel efficiency of 33.85 km/kg, according to ARAI certification.
The installation of a CNG fuel gauge in the digital instrument cluster and a CNG filling nozzle close to the petrol filling chamber are the changes made to the CNG variant. A CNG & petrol switchover button is located on the right side of the steering wheel, and the spare wheel is located below the CNG cylinder inside. The jack is also located under the driver seat. The spare wheel can only be reached from the front by folding the back bench seat, thus getting to it can be bit difficult.
The CNG variation receives the same features as the standard VXI variant in terms of features. Digital instrument cluster, a 2-din audio system with two speakers, USB, AUX, and Bluetooth connectivity, manual climate control, front power windows, rear parking sensors, two front airbags, manually adjustable ORVMs, and other features are among the car's feature set.
Priced at Rs 5.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Alto K10 CNG is Rs 95,000 more expensive than the standard VXI variant. However, the CNG version is a more cost-effective choice for those who need a small car with low fuel consumption and make long daily commutes.
