Royal Enfield will soon be introducing the new Scram 411 in the Indian market to target the buyers who are looking for a road-biased bike with mild off-roading capabilities. The new Scram 411 is expected to be based on the RE Himalayan and has been spied on test at multiple occasions. Having said this, the images of the 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 brochure recently surfaced online and gave us a hint of what the bike will have to offer to the buyers. Having said this, here is everything that you would like to know about this new 400cc bike in India.
For starters, the Scram 411 will share most of its styling cues with the Himalayan and boasts a retro-inspired style language. In addition to this, the bike gets round headlamps and rearview mirrors, front fork gaters, a wide handlebar, split seats, and upswept exhaust that we also see with the Himalayan. The Scram 411 however misses out on dedicated racks at the front and rear. Other noticeable changes include compact-sized tank shrouds at the front and a single piece grab rail at the back.

When compared to the Himalayan, the RE Scram 411 will get smaller, 19-inch wheels while it also misses out on a windscreen. We are also expecting to see new colour options with the RE Scram 411. The 2022 Royal Enfield Scram 411 price is expected to be significantly more affordable when compared to the Himalayan. We might see an updated instrument console with the Scram 411.
Powering the Scram 411 will be the same 411cc engine that we saw with the Himalayan. This engine boasts a peak power and torque output of 24.3 bhp and 32 Nm respectively. A five-speed manual gearbox will come mated to this engine and we might see the brand offering a retuned version of this engine. The suspension duties will be handled by telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock setup at the rear. The bike will additionally boast dual-disc brakes with dual-channel ABS.
