2024 Maruti Dzire
India's best-selling sedan? No, it is India's best-selling car. The Dzire helps Indians move from one place to another in comfort and with lots and lots of space. It is finally getting a new look after seven years. In 2024, the Maruti Swift also entered its fourth generation and received tremendous reviews from almost every reviewer for its driveability, features, mileage, and sporty looks.
The new Dzire will incorporate almost everything from the new Swift, but present it with a more premium feel. That said, the standout feature of this car will be the all-new 1.2L 3-cylinder Z-Series engine, which is lower in power but higher in mileage. Speaking of specifications, it delivers 82 PS and 112 Nm of torque, and is available with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
The second powertrain option will be the S-CNG version, which will feature the 1.2L Z-Series engine equipped with a CNG kit, delivering over 30 km/kg of mileage.
2024 Maruti Dzire Expected Price
The new Swift starts at Rs 6.49 lakh ex-showroom, so the expected price of the Dzire could be around Rs 6.79 to 6.99 lakh, going up to Rs 9.99 lakh. Speaking of CNG, this will be more expensive, as the new Maruti Swift S-CNG starts at Rs 8.20 lakh, and the top variant, ZXi CNG, costs Rs 9.19 lakh.
New Body Style
The upcoming Dzire might feature a more boxy design, making it resemble its rivals, such as the Honda Amaze and Hyundai Aura. The current generation has more curves and feels elegant from every angle. However, the new could get more sharp lines and chunkier headlights, along with diamond-cut alloy wheels, taking inspiration from the latest Swift. Lets see how it looks in real life before speculating more on its appearance.
