1. Fresh Styling But Retains The Charm
The 2024 Maruti Swift receives a rejuvenated look, adding a new charm to the beloved hatchback. Enhanced with sharper LED headlamps and a redesigned grille positioned slightly higher than its predecessor, the Swift also sports a fresh bumper with the emblem now elegantly placed above the grille. Observing its side profile, the Swift maintains its familiar essence, yet keen eyes will notice the rear door handles have reverted to their traditional placement. Completing the aesthetic update, the 16-inch alloys feature a dual-tone finish and a contemporary design.
2. More Features, Updated Interiors
The redesigned Swift showcases a completely overhauled dashboard layout, offering an abundance of new features compared to its predecessor. This latest model boasts a range of modern technologies, highlighted by a larger touchscreen infotainment system with seamless wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, it introduces added conveniences like wireless charging, integrated connectivity features, cruise control, rear AC vents, rear wiper and washer, all-power windows, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, rear USB charging ports, and more. 3. 2024 Maruti Swift: Gets You More Mileage, But...
The 2024 Swift debuts a fresh mild-hybrid powertrain, showcasing a 1.2-liter, three-cylinder, Z Series petrol engine calibrated to produce 81.58 PS power and 112 Nm of torque. Offered with both 5-speed manual and AMT transmissions, the new engine delivers enhanced fuel efficiency while marginally sacrificing power. The AMT version achieves an impressive mileage of 25.75 kmpl, while the manual variant returns 24.80 kmpl, marking a notable 14% increase for the AMT and a 10% boost for the manual gearbox. These improvements resonate positively with Indian consumers. However, compared to the previous engine that produced 89 Ps power, this one takes a slight hit in numbers.
