India Yamaha Motors (IYM) has launched the 2024 MotoGP R15M and MT-15 Version 2 editions. The Yamaha R15M MotoGP edition launched at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the MT-15 Version 2 is priced at Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand launched these motorcycles under the Call of the Blue campaign. Read details of the new MotoGP editions below. 2024 Yamaha R15M & MT-15 MotoGP Edition
The newly launched Yamaha Monster Energy MotoGP editions boasts several cosmetic changes and the brand has not made any hardware or feature update to the motorcycle. The Yamaha R15M Monster Energy MotoGP edition boasts MotoGP livery on the fuel tank, tank shrouds, and side panels, outlining the brand's Racing DNA. Similarly, the MT-15 Version 2.0 also gets the same cosmetic treatment.
If we talk about the features bost the motorcycles come with all LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, a Traction Control System, Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), USD Fork in Front Suspension and Linked-Type Monocross Suspension at the rear, traction control system, and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, the R15M offers Quick Shifter, a fully digital color TFT screen, Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Music & Volume control, upgraded switchgear, and LED license plate light for the riders.
The powertrain duties on both the motorcycles is done by a 155cc liquid-cooled engine producing 18 bhp of power and 14.2 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Yamaha keeps on launching the Monster Energy MotoGP versions of its scooters and motocycles on timely basis. The new Yamaha R15M & MT-15 Version 2.0 MotoGP edition boasts cosmetic changes which makes it different from other variants.
