One of the most awaited SUVs of 2021, the Hyundai Alcazar launch date and brochure details are finally out. The upcoming SUV is launching on June 18. Recently, we also shared that the official bookings for the same has commenced at a premium of 25,000 at all dealerships and the Hyundai website.

Hyundai Alcazar gets the highest wheelbase of 2760 mm and a larger boot space of 180 litres. This is the highest in the 7-seater SUV segment when compared with the MG Hector Plus and the Tata Safari.

As from the brochure, the interiors of the Alcazar will get both 6 and 7-seat configuration is available in six variants - Signature, Signature (O), Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum and Platinum (O). Hyundai Alcazar carries some of the first in segment features that are mentioned below

Other features in the Alcazar continues to be Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, huge panoramic sunroof, signature BlueLink connected car technology, voice command, ventilated seats, 360-degree camera, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, drive modes, traction control modes, ambient lighting and among others.
Safety features on the Alcazar include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill hold control, lane departure warning, forward collision assist, electronic stability program, cross-traffic alert, automatic emergency braking, driver attention warning system and among others.
Mechanically, Hyundai Alcazar packs in two engine options - a 2.0L petrol making 160PS/192 Nm and a 1.5L diesel generating 115PS/250 Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and an optional 6-speed torque converter is provided as an option.

As of now, the prices for the Alcazar are not yet out but we expect it to stick between Rs 12.50 lakh to Rs 18.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Also, the upcoming Mahindra XUV700 is launching in the festive season so this to will be a worthy competition to the Hyundai Alcazar.
