After treading international markets, the Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024 is caught testing on Indian soil. Yes, the Creta facelift 2024 is spied for the first time testing in India and it hints at major upgrades. While the unit is wrapped from all-around, it still gives away hints at some major updates.
Let's get into the details and the pictures of the incoming SUV facelift.
Hyundai Creta Facelift Finally On Indian Soil
After the arch-rival, Kia Seltos dropped another teaser of the Seltos facelift cabin, the Hyundai Creta facelift has been spotted for the first time in India. Although it is wrapped in a black covering, a lot can be inferred from underneath. And most of it departs from the international versions.
The Tucson-inspired front that retails in some ASEAN countries doesn't make its way here. In fact, it gets more exclusive design cues. Since Creta rules the Indian compact SUV segment, it gets this special treatment. At the front, it now leaves the Tucson design language and heads into a Pallisade-like front. It gets vertical headlamps positioning, new DRLs stying, and placement. The front grille and bumper are reworked units and it most probably houses the ADAS sensors. The same was previously spotted testing in South Korea, its home turf, and the ADAS is highly likely with the Indian unit as well.

The rear profile is tweaked to a different stage as well. It comes with a redesigned tailgate and new tail lamps which will most likely be an LED setup along with the connected LED beam. These all elements can be seen in the Hyundai Verna as well.
Talking about what it rolls on are 18-inch Alcazar alloy wheels and though the design could be different at its launch, the size will be the same.
Features
At this point, a feature feast is waiting with the Facelift Hyundai Creta. Adas, panoramic sunroof, rear window shades, rear AC vents, electrically-adjustable front seats, front seat ventilation, large infotainment screen, digital instrument cluster, and LED lighting are some of the features. In short, you pretty much get everything a modern car these days should have.
Engine- Another Update Under The Hood
The engine options are going to be a mixed bag. It will continue with the existing 1.5L NA petrol engine that is good for 113 bhp of power with a peak torque of 144 Nm and the 1.5L diesel engine putting out 113 bhp with max torque of 250 Nm. However, the 1.4L turbo petrol is being replaced by a 1.5L turbo petrol engine (158 bhp, 253 Nm).
You can expect the launch somewhere around early 2024.
VERDICT- With all that we have in front of us when launched, beating the Hyundai Creta facelift will be an uphill task. Be it in terms of features, or the overall experience. On paper, it currently ticks almost all the boxes. It would be interesting to see how the Seltos and Creta battle it out with their facelifts.
