Hyundai Creta EV: Design
The Hyundai Creta EV derives most of its design elements from its ICE counterpart but differentiates with some EV-specific elements. These unique design elements include new aero wheels, a new steering wheel, and a charging port up front. The Creta EV gets refreshed front and rear bumpers, a blanked-off grille, and all LED lighting. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, ADAS suite, wireless mobile charger, dual 10.25-inch screens, and ventilated front seats.
Hyundai Creta EV: Powertrain
There is not much information available about the powertrain of the Creta EV. It is expected to feature a 50-60 kWh battery pack, providing an all-electric range of up to 500 km on a solitary charge. The Creta EV will get the same electric motor that the brand utilises for the entry-level Kona electric. As for the power figures, this powertrain generates 138 bhp and 255 Nm of torque.
Price and Rivals
We expect the Hyundai Creta EV to arrive in India between the 20-22 lakh price bracket. With this price tag and specifications, the Creta EV will rival the Tata Curvv, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Elevate EV.
