Customers can breathe a sigh of relief as not all Creta Facelift petrol variants have been subjected to this price hike. Some models, such as the E 1.5 petrol MT, SX(O) 1.5 Turbo DCT, and the SX(O) 1.5 Turbo DCT variant, have been exempt from this increase. However, for all other petrol variants, a uniform price increase of Rs. 3,500 has been implemented.

Turning our attention to customers considering the diesel variant, we find a parallel scenario to the petrol lineup. Certain models, notably the SX(O) 1.5 AT and the SX(O) 1.5 AT dual-tone, have been spared from the price hike. However, for the rest of the diesel variants, an increase of up to Rs. 10,800 is observed.

Pre-Facelift Hyundai Creta iVT Variants Recalled

Hyundai has recently issued a recall for pre-facelift Hyundai Creta iVT Variants due to potential concerns with the Electric Oil Pump (EOP) controller. Affected customers have been contacted by Hyundai to address this issue promptly. Owners need not worry about expenses as Hyundai will cover all costs associated with this issue only.

Those who own this model can either visit an authorized Hyundai dealership for inspection or check if their vehicle is affected through Hyundai India's official portal by entering their 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

Verdict

The Hyundai Creta facelift's price hike, while expected, remains within reasonable limits, ensuring it remains a compelling option in the market with its diverse engine choices and feature-rich variants.
