Mahindra has been testing its upcoming electric SUV the XUV 700 or XUV.e8 for a long time. The brand has already revealed the concept vehicle in 2022 and is planning to launch the new electric SUVs in 2025. The newly spotted test mule has revealed new details about the upcoming SUV. Mahindra XUV 700 Electric Or XUV.e8
The newly spotted test mule was seen with a similar stance as the XUV 700 ICE version. The EV variant will get some changes in design which will be on the front and rear along with a new design for alloy wheels for better aerodynamics and efficiency.
The front profile of the SUV was seen with a connecting LED DRL, connecting the headlights, also the headlamp assembly is slightly tweaked. At the rear, the SUV gets a similar tail lamp design as the ICE sibling but there is some difference in the bumper. Overall the stance of the SUV is similar to the ICE version.
On the inside, the previous spy shots have revealed that the SUV will get a triple-screen setup. These three screens will serve as a digital instrument cluster, an infotainment display, and a passenger-side display with some additional information. We can also anticipate a new HVAC control panel with touch-sensitive controls. Other features on the inside are expected to be in line with the XUV 700 ICE version. We can expect a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and dual-zone climate control among other features.

Verdict
Mahindra is planning to bring a lot of electric vehicle in the coming years. The brand has not yet revealed the timeline but we can anticipate the first electric SUV to make debut in 2025. Mahindra might change the name and follow the recent naming strategy like the XUV300 facelift.
