Mahindra & Mahindra is testing many upcoming electric vehicles for the market. The test mules of the multiple Mahindra electric SUVs have been spotted multiple times. A test mule of Mahindra XUV700 Electric has been spotted on the test, revealing some new details about the upcoming electric vehicle. Read details of the upcoming electric vehicle below. Mahindra XUV700 Electric (XUV.e8)

The newly spotted test mule boasted a different front fascia than the ICE version of the XUV700. The electric version boasts a closed front grille with a full-length LED light bar, the headlamp design is also tweaked and looks more bigger. The lower bumper gets bigger air intakes. On the sides, it has a similar profile but features more aerodynamic alloy wheels. The rear gets subtle changes on the bumper and an extended roof spoiler.

On the design front, we can expect some EV-specific details such as Bronze accents on the bumper or grille similar to the XUV400 electric.

On the inside, the previous spotting has revealed a new instrument cluster, we can also expect a triple-screen setup on the inside. Other features such as ventilated seats, ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and others are expected to be available.

Mahindra XUV700 Electric Powertrain

The upcoming XUV700 Electric or XUV.e8 is expected to get two battery pack options starting from a 60 kWh single motor setup and an 80 kWh battery pack with dual-motor setup. The range is expected to be around 450-500 km on a single charge. The SUV will support both AC and DC fast charging for quick charging time.

Verdict

Mahindra has some ambitious plans for the electric mobility segment and the brand is eyeing on launching multiple products in the coming years. The spotting of different upcoming Mahindra Electric cars shows that the brand has already started working on the development of these vehicles.
