Maruti eVX Electric SUV, a first from Maruti Suzuki is all set to make its debut in 2025. And while the concept was showcased at the Auto Expo 2023, it is fast inching toward the production-ready phase. Evident of this is the recent sightings where we extract various details. And this time again, we have some more info about what could be on the inside as the eVX gets papped in Europe.

Maruti eVX Continues Testing: What Will The Interiors Bring
In these latest spy shots, the dashboard design is evident, featuring a dual-screen setup for the digital cluster and infotainment system. This layout mirrors what we've already seen in modern cars like the Mahindra XUV700 and Kia Seltos facelift. The screen size looms somewhere around 10 inches each, providing ample space to showcase various information about the EV, including range, battery status, regenerative braking details, and more.

Additionally, the infotainment system is expected to receive an updated user interface, offering enhanced features and improved performance. Meanwhile, everything else confirms the earlier information we had from the spy shots.
On closer inspection, there is a shark fin antenna visible on the roof, and also the charging port on the left side fender. A bulge under the ORVM suggests a 360-degree camera as well. The rear doors get the door handle integrated into the sloping window line
The vehicle exudes a rugged appeal with chunky cladding, solid bonnet lines, and pronounced creases. Although the lights seen in the spy shots are veiled, it is expected that the production version will boast LED headlamps and tail lamps, possibly with a connecting LED beam light. The alloys look simple in the test mule, however, the production-ready model will have a different design. It will be rather a more EV-centric design to cut down on air drag.
Since India will be the initial market for the launch of the eVX, Maruti Suzuki eVX and its Toyota counterpart will both utilize a modified version of Toyota's 40PL fully electric platform, also known internally as the 27PL codename. This platform is expected to serve as the foundation for these electric vehicles,
Range And Features
According to the specifications by the brand, the EV will be equipped with a 60 kWh battery pack. This is good enough for providing an estimated range of up to 550 kilometers. Since it competes with other EVs in the segment, it is coming with plenty of features. From the spy shots last time, the passenger seat displays electronic adjustments as well. Vertical ac vents, and single pane dual display set-up, one for the instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment screen. On top of this, expect ADAS to finally make its way as a first on any Maruti Suzuki vehicle.
