Maruti Suzuki has discontinued the VXI & ZXI automatic variants of the Ertiga MPV in November 2022. Now, the brand has re-introduced the Ertiga VXI AT & ZXI AT variants. Additionally, the manufacturer has upgraded a few safety features for the MPV and added them as standard equipment to all models. The Ertiga VXI AT now has an ex-showroom price of Rs. 11.13 lakh, and the ZXI AT version now costs Rs. 12.13 lakh (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga AT Variants
The Ertiga automatic was only offered in the ZXI+ variant after the VXI AT and ZXI AT were discontinued. The company has now brought back the discontinued models, and the Ertiga automatic is now offered in three variations: VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+. The 1.5-litre smart hybrid petrol engine is offered in automatic versions. The engine generates a maximum torque of 136.8 Nm and 102 bhp of power. A 5-speed manual transmission is another option for this engine's transmission.
The manufacturer has improved the MPV's safety measures in addition to introducing automatic versions. Electronic stability control and hill-hold control, which were previously only available in automatic variants, are now standard across all variants, including manual, automatic, and CNG.
Additionally, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has a CNG powertrain with a 1.5-liter bi-fuel engine. In CNG mode, the CNG powertrain generates a maximum torque of 121 Nm and 86 horsepower of power. There is just a 5-speed manual transmission available for this engine.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Variants & Pricing
The manufacturer has recently increased the price of its lineup and the Ertiga MPV is now available for Rs. 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs. 12.93 lakh (ex-showroom). Below is a list of each variant's price.

Verdict: The brand will be able to attract more customers with the re-introduction of the VXI & ZXI AT variants. The newly introduced variants are less expensive than the top-of-the-line ZXI+ AT model, this will also enable users to enjoy the convenience of two-pedal operation.
