Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to showcase its very first electric car- the e Vitara at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The e Vitara was also revealed at the EICMA 2024, held from the 7th to the 10th of this month. Earlier known as the Maruti Suzuki eVX, the e Vitara is meant to be the brand's global product. Now, the company has announced that it will be showcasing the new e Vitara at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara: Design
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara follows the traditional Maruti Suzuki SUV design philosophy. It gets chunky wheel arches, connected tail lamps, thick rear bumper, Y-shaped LED headlights and the thick cladding is apparent on all four sides of the electric SUV. The charging port is positioned on the front left fender. Also, the rear door handles are placed on the C-pillar.
Features
On the feature front, the e Vitara gets a two-screen setup- 1 infotainment and 1 driver's display, automatic climate control, wireless charger, cruise control and ventilated front seats. Other features on offer include an ADAS Level 2 suite, 360-degree camera and electronic parking brake.
Powertrain
The e Vitara will offer two battery packs which include a 49 kWh and a 61 kWh unit. The 49 kWh will only get the 2WD option while the 61 kWh will also be offered with 4WD which is Maruti's ALLGRIP-e 4WD system.
