The MG Comet EV was recently launched in India at a starting price of Rs 7.98 lakh ex-showroom in 3 different variants i.e. Pace, Play & Plush. The base Pace variant of the Comet EV has finally started to arrive at the MG showrooms and dealerships. In this article, we will take a look at the base Pace variant of the MG Comet EV and see what features it gets and what features it misses out on.
MG Comet EV Pace Base Variant: Exterior
Although MG has priced the base variant of the Comet EV in the Rs 8 lakh price tag, it still gets reflector-type halogen headlamps, taillamps & turn indicators. Moreover, it also misses out on keyless entry, request sensors on the doors, and connected LED lightbar in the front & rear. However, MG has included the rear defogger, rear LED fog lamp, & ORVM-mounted LED side turn indicators on the base Pace variant of Comet EV. Also, the good thing is that the 12-inch steel wheels in the base variant also come with the full-wheel covers just like the top variant.
MG Comet EV Pace Base Variant: Interior
In the interior, the MG Comet EV's base Pace variant misses out on a lot of features like the large 10.25-inch touchscreen, tilt steering, smart start system with intelligent key, etc. Moreover, it also gets a smaller 7-inch color driver display instead of the larger 10.25-inch driver display available in the top variant. However, MG does offer many comfort & convenience features like electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear 50:50 split seats, power windows, manual AC with digital controls, etc.
On the safety front, the base Pace variant of the Comet EV gets features like dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system (Indirect), rear LED fog lamp, ISOFIX, manual dimming IRVM, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder for all seats, etc.
