MG has introduced an exclusive Gamer Edition of the MG Comet EV, featuring design elements and enhancements inspired by India's renowned gamer, Naman Mathur. Widely known as Mortal. However, it retails at a premium of Rs. 65,000 over the standard variants. this special edition showcases unique accents on the wheels and doors, as well as striking stickers on the B-pillar. Inside the cabin, the stock interiors receive an upgrade with the addition of neon lights and special textured materials on the key.

The Comet EV Gamer Edition boasts an eco-friendly exterior, constructed from recycled plastic materials. It showcases a striking combination of dark chrome and metal finishes, accompanied by illuminated design elements, including a gaming controller outline on the rear panel. This special edition adds gaming-inspired accents to the exterior.

Inside, the gaming-focused cabin of the Comet EV Gamer Edition features neon highlights on the steering wheel and seats. Meanwhile, the EV retains its dual-screen setup, comprising a 10.25-inch driver display and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, providing a familiar user experience. The cabin styling remains identical to the standard model, offering the same space for passengers.
Features
MG officially launched the Comet in India at an introductory price of Rs 7.98 lakhs. It comes in three distinct variants - Pace, Play, and Push. The Gamer Edition shares the same impressive features as the standard model. It includes wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, keyless entry, over 55 connected car features, digital key, power windows, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking camera, TPMS, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).
MG Comet EV: Powertrain And Range
The MG Comet is powered by a 17.3kWh battery pack, combined with an electric motor that generates 41bhp and 76Nm of torque. Furthermore, the brand claims a range of up to 230 km on a single charge. However, the real-world range might differ as it depends on a lot of different factors while driving.
