It uses a 796 cc petrol engine and makes 48 bhp with 69 Nm of peak torque in CNG disguise. Transmission is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Maruti Alto K10 CNG
If you are someone who can extend their budget by a mere Rs 30,000 then you can opt for the more reliable 1.0 petrol engine used in K10 CNG. This hatchback offers more space, more power and improved design from the Alto800. It is sold in one trim, LXi and is priced at Rs 4.51 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Maruti WagonR CNG
This hatchback has been in the market for over a decade and it does not fail to attract the first time buyers who are on a budget. Bigger in size, more cabin space and this new-gen comes with modern features like the touchscreen infotainment system, power windows and among others. The prices for the same starts at Rs 5.25 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Maruti Celerio CNG
The Celerio has been in the Indian market since 2014 and it was the first car to be available with an AMT gearbox. It also comes with a CNG option but in manual transmission. It uses a 1.0L petrol engine which churns out 59 bhp with 78 Nm of torque in CNG form. It gets a sticker price of Rs 5.40 lakh.

Hyundai Santro CNG
Now, this is one good competition to the Maruti WagonR and it is available in CNG too. The power delivery of the Santro in CNG form is 58 bhp with 84 Nm of peak torque. It gets more feature, looks better in styling and sticks at Rs 5.50 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG
The Nios is a sporty looking successor to the Grand i10 and offers more space, practicality and features. The power comes in from a 1.2L petrol engine and produces 68 bhp with 95 Nm of peak torque. Hyundai retails the Grand i10 Nios CNG in two trims - Magna and Sportz and the prices for the same sticks at Rs 6.63 lakh and Rs 7.16 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi respectively.
Hyundai Aura CNG
Like the Nios which was a successor to Grand i10, Aura follows the same trend with the Xcent. It is the only sedan which offers a CNG on offer and the prices for the same starts at Rs 7.29 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi for the S Trim. Ford used to sell the Aspire with a factory fitted CNG kit but the same has disappeared from the website lately.
Maruti Ertiga CNG
The only MPV on a budget that is offered in a CNG trim too. The 7-seater car gets a sticker price of Rs 8.95 lakh, ex-showroom and is available in a single VXi trim. Highly recommended for family usage!
