One of the top 3-row SUV models offered in the Indian market is the Toyota Fortuner. A lot of features and powerful engine choices are available with the Fortuner. The Japanese automaker has now s made a small adjustment to the SUV's feature set. The brand has removed the 11-speaker JBL speakers from the Fortuner and Legender. Now, customers will only receive the Fortuner & Legender SUV's with a six-speaker audio system. No price changes for the SUV have resulted from this feature removal.

Toyota Fortuner Feature Removal & Pricing
The Fortuner's lower-spec trims come with a 6-speaker system, while the higher-spec trims had a JBL 11-speaker system for a better acoustic experience. All trims will now only come with a 6-speaker system as a result of the removal of the JBL speakers system. The company has not stated whether this feature removal is a temporary or permanent change.
In terms of price, the SUV's price has not changed by the brand. It still has an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 32.59 lakh and can be purchased for as much as Rs 50.34 lakh (ex-showroom). The Legender, on the other hand, has a starting price of Rs. 42.82 lakh (ex-showroom) and a maximum price of Rs. 46.54 lakh (ex-showroom).

A 2.7-liter petrol engine with 164 bhp of power and 245 Nm, mated to either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic, and a 2.8-liter diesel engine with 201 bhp of power and 420 Nm/500 Nm of peak torque are the two engine options available for the Toyota Fortuner. The 2.8-liter diesel engine is the only one offered with the Legender. Both the Fortuner and the Legender have 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains.
Verdict: Some buyers will be turned off by the removal of the 11 speaker system, which will also have an impact on the SUV's premium character. The Fortuner currently lags behind other competitors in the market and competitors such as the MG Gloster, which has a 12-speaker system, and other premium features.
