Royal Enfield has launched its much-awaited Himalayan Scram 411 motorcycle at Rs 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). The motorcycle is an ADV with the capability to handle different terrains and sit on the same chassis as the Himalayan.
Mechanically, it is powered by a 411cc two-valve SOHC air-cooled engine. The engine develops 24.3 bhp power and 32 Nm of peak torque. Royal Enfield has adjusted the engine to fit the bike's features. A five-speed constant mesh gearbox is offered to support the engine. The motorcycle weighs 185 kg and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres.

The Scram 411 rides on dual-purpose tyres with a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. The new Royal Enfield Scram 411 has 200-millimeter ground clearance. The Himalayan, on the other hand, has a ground clearance of 220 mm. The braking system is aided by disc brakes on the front as well as the rear combined with dual-channel ABS.
The Scram 411, like other Royal Enfield motorcycles, may be customized to the customer's specifications through the company's Make-it-Yours (MiY) programme. As an official accessory, the Tripper Navigation pod will be available.
This new ADV crossover has a starting price of Rs 2.03 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai). The motorcycle will be offered in a variety of colours, including dual-color variations. At this price point, this ADV motorcycle directly lock horns with Yezdi Scrambler and Honda CB350 RS.
