Tata Harrier EV And Petrol:
The current Tata Harrier is equipped with a 2-litre diesel engine that produces 168 bhp and 350 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Tata is planning to introduce a petrol version of the Harrier, scheduled for launch in India in 2025. Additionally, an electric version of the Harrier was revealed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 and is also anticipated to debut next year.
The upcoming Harrier EV is expected to come with a 60 to 70 kWh battery pack, offering options for single or dual motors. It is likely to have a range of around 400 km and may include an all-wheel-drive (AWD) option. Built on the new Activ.EV architecture, the Harrier EV is designed to provide a robust electric driving experience.
In terms of appearance, both the upcoming petrol and electric versions are expected to resemble the current diesel model. They will feature minor updates, including new badging and subtle design tweaks.
