The bookings for the Tata Tiago EV are now open across all Tata dealerships at a price of just Rs 21,000. This electric hatchback is priced from Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 11.79 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. This is the introductory price so far and will remain the same for the first 10,000 buyers.
The test drives for the same will open in December 2022 and the deliveries will happen in January 2023. Powering the Tiago EV are two battery packs - 19.2kWh and 24 kWh. The production of the latter battery pack is prioritised as it is popular among consumers and offers a better driving range than the 19.2kWh battery pack.
The 19.2kWh battery pack sprints 0 to 60 kmph in 6.2 seconds and offers an MIDC driving range of 250 km. It generates 60 bhp of power with a peak torque of 110 Nm. It is provided with a 3.3kW charger as standard and 10% to 100% is achieved in just 5.1 hours.

Sharing details about the popular 24 kWh battery pack then it provides a certified MIDC range of 315 km. This is a good driving range for people who want to use this car for daily running or inter-city travel sometimes. It comes with two chargers - 3.3kW for the lower trims and 7.2kWh for the higher versions.
This one belts out a peak power and torque of 74 bhp and 114 Nm, respectively. The battery can be juiced up from 10% to 100% in just 3.6 hours via the 7.2kWh AC charger. Both the battery packs support DC fast charging and it takes 57 minutes to charge the batteries from 10% to 80%.
Feature-wise, Tiago EV gets a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, power folding ORVMs, automatic climate control, digital instrument cluster, drive modes, LED daytime running lights, push-button start/stop and more.
