Tata Tigor EV is the most affordable EV in the country right now. Available in three variants, it is priced from Rs 12.49 lakh to Rs 13.64 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It gets a 26.5 kWh battery pack and an ARAI certified driving range of 306 km. It takes 9 hours to fully juice up the battery.
Tata Nexon EV
Tata Nexon is the only compact sedan in the country to be offered in petrol, diesel and in EV forms. As per the reports, Tata is also working on the CNG version of the Nexon. The Nexon EV is sold in two types - Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max. The former provides a driving range of 312 km compared to 437 km of the Nexon EV Max.

MG ZS EV is quite advanced in its segment. It boasts several features like a panoramic sunroof, connected car technology, ADAS and more. Offered with a 50.3 kWh battery pack that belts out 174 bhp of power with a peak torque of 280 Nm. The driving range of this electric SUV sticks to 461 km which is quite good for Indian road conditions.
Hyundai Kona Electric
Hyundai Kona Electric rivals with Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Mahindra XUV400 EV. It is one of the oldest eSUVs on sale in India from the list and gets a 39.2 kWh battery pack. It churns out 134 bhp of power with a peak torque of 395 Nm. The driving range for the same sticks to 452 km.

BYD e6
