Toyota Motors India recently announced that it will launch the Toyota Fortuner Legender 4X4 variant soon. So, if you have been planning to buy a 4X4 version of the SUV, you will be soon able to not only opt for the standard variant but also take a good look at the arguably more stylish Legender version. This variant comes with sleeker headlamp unis and a sleeker grille and a sportier set of bumpers.
Legender looks quite aggressive with its new bumper integrated with LED fog lamps. Toyota Fortuner Legender comes equipped with split quad-LED headlamps with waterfall LED signature line guides and a new 5-spoke 18-inch multi-layered machine cut alloy wheel design.
The car at the rear comes with a set of LED taillights as before. The existing Legender is available only with a single colour option that is a white colour with a black contrasting roof. The standard Toyota Fortuner is available with 4X2 and 4X4 automatic variants whereas its Legender was only available with 4X2 option. Toyota is expected to soon launch the 4X4 variant for Legender as well.

Meeting the BS6 norms, Toyota revamped its Fortuner and inherited the car with upgraded connected tech and enhanced safety features. Fortuner is available with petrol and diesel engine options. The 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine has been upgraded a bit which produces 204 Ps of maximum power and 500 Nm of peak torque with automatic transmission and 420 Nm of peak torque with manual transmission.

It also offers a 2.7-litre petrol engine which delivers 166 PS of maximum power and 245 Nm of peak torque. It is available in manual and automatic transmissions. Whereas Legender is only available with the same 2.8-litre diesel engine mated to an automatic gearbox.
The interior of the Legender are loaded with few more features like wireless charging, ambient lighting, contrasting stitching on the console box, and the driver's display has black dials with white illumination bars.
