Toyota Hyryder Hybrid SUV is revealed in the latest spy photos taken during the shoot of the official TVC. The upcoming SUV will be offered with AWD.
After numerous anticipations about the upcoming Toyota Hyryder Hybrid SUV; here are the first images of the production model. Spied at the official TVC shoot, the upcoming Toyota mid-size SUV is all set for its global debut on July 1. The new SUV is designed in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki. The shared spare parts & technology hint toward aggressive pricing.

Perhaps the rumors were true about the smiling fascia design of the Hyryder. The only spy photo available shows the side-front profile of the new SUV. Stretched-out LED DRLs are connected with a chunky chrome strip, thus, providing it a smiling fascia. The front grille is not large in shape, though the bumper air dams are large enough to cool down the powertrain. The projector headlights are embedded into the bumper itself, and the design does look identical to the upcoming Maruti Suzuki YFG.
The car spotted during the shoot embraces a dual-tone exterior colour. The maroon shade is well contrasted with the black roof & black ORVMs. Although we can only anticipate via the pics, the interior space seems reasonably well put. If we place it with the segment rivals, the Hyryder will be a spacious SUV as suspected.

Toyota is using the TNGA platform for the Hyryder. While the Maruti sibling SUV is all set to debut in the coming months, the Hyryder will uncover most of the design & technical aspects with its global debut on July 1. Powering the car is a 1.5-Lt, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This pair of SUVs will also be the first in the segment to offer the AWD option to the customers.

Speaking of the rivals, 2022 Hyundai Creta & 2022 KIA Seltos are also on their way to India. The updated avatar of the most popular mid-size SUVs will compete with the new Toyota-Maruti SUV duo. Simultaneously, Tata Harrier SUV is also being prepped with a petrol engine. The petrol Harrier is also expected to go live by the first half of 2023 in India. Other rivals include the VW Taigun & Skoda Kushaq SUVs.
We expect the launch will take place around the upcoming festive season. Pricing is surely going to be interesting because the localization of parts will help cut down the costs of the Hyryder SUV.
