Innova HyCross - Launch & Delivery Details
The Hycross was the most anticipated car debut this year. It is a successor to the Innova brand. Additionally, it has brought some first-ever changes to the famous MPV. With its global & domestic debut, the India launch is nearing now. However, the Hycross has been put up on display at a dealership. This is even before the official price announcement of it. Toyota's Jaipur dealership has recently organized a small debut event of the Hycross. For this event, the dealership invited the current Innova Crysta owners & potential buyers. The car put up on display is the top-end hybrid variant.
Meanwhile, speaking of its launch, Toyota is waiting for the upcoming Indian Auto Expo. Why? Because other makers will debut their products via the upcoming fair. Hence, Toyota is waiting for the correct time. However, before it, Toyota dealers started taking bookings for the Hycross. Moreover, its pricing is not revealed even to the buyers booking the car. We're suspecting that it will launch in a price bracket of Rs 22-28 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, its deliveries will begin by the first quarter of 2023.
In other news, Maruti is also going to debut an MPV based on the Hycross. As both makers have a joint venture of products; this new MPV will make its debut sometime later in 2023. Additionally, this MPV will help Maruti to expand its portfolio in the premium segment of cars.
Verdict
The Hycross is going to be one premium offering. It uses lighter chassis, has good fuel economy, & offers amazing features. Considering all of it; its pricing will remain on the premium side. Hence, it will rival KIA Carnival as far as it is believed. Meanwhile, if you're keen on knowing more about it; watch our detailed video below.
