After the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara was introduced in India, Toyota launched the Urban Cruiser Hyryder smart hybrid variants. Priced at Rs. 10.48 lakh (ex-showroom), the base E variant of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. This base model is Rs 3,000 more expensive than the Grand Vitara's base variant at this price bracket. Toyota Urban Crusier Hyryder E Variant
The Hyryder base model is one of the segment's best-equipped base models. The exterior of the base model has body-colored door handles, ORVMs, and bumpers. Higher-trim models have a projector halogen headlight, as well as turn indicators on the ORVMs, rear parking sensors, rear defoggers, and 17-inch wheels with full wheel covfull-wheel
The Hyryder E variant's interior features a dual-tone treatment with black door padding, fabric seats, a height-adjustable driver seat, an analogue instrument cluster with a MID, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, all five adjustable headrests, push-button start, all four power windows, a rear arm rest, and other features. A rear parking camera and an infotainment system, even the most basic one, are things that are missing in the E variant.

When it comes to engine details, the 1.5-liter smart-hybrid petrol engine is the only one available with the E model. The engine has a maximum output of 137 Nm of peak torque and 102 bhp of power. The E variant's engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission; an automatic transmission is not available. This same engine also has a 6-speed torque converter in higher trim levels.
