Upcoming TVS Apache RTR Series Motorcycle
The company has released a short video as a teaser showing the TVS logo on the fuel tank. It's been a long time since TVS launched a new model under the RTR series. The new motorcycle could be a facelift of the RTR 310 or it can be an update for any other RTR model.
Currently, TVS sells three RTR models in the Indian market the RTR 160, RTR 180, RTR 200, and RTR 310. The last model was launched in September last year and since then the brand has not launched any update to any RTR model. The new teaser may suggest an updated model with new features and color options. The RTR series is one of the most popular motorcycle lines in India. The upcoming TVS RTR motorcycle could be a response to the rising competition.
TVS iQube Range Gets A New Update
In other TVS news, the brand has recently updated its electric two-wheeler lineup with the new variants of the TVS iQube electric scooter. The iQube 2.2 kWh variant has been launched to make the scooter more affordable in the market. The iQube now comes in 5 variants and with 3 battery pack options. The electric scooter range now starts at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
Verdict
The TVS Apache RTR series is one of the most popular motorcycle lines in the Indian market and is a strong competitor to the Bajaj Pulsar series. Recently, Bajaj introduced a new model, the Pulsar NS400 Z, and the forthcoming TVS Apache RTR model could be a response to this. It is currently unclear whether it will be an entirely new model or just a variant update.
