The all-new 2021 Force Gurkha will be powered by a BS6 compliant 2.6-litre common-rail turbocharged diesel engine. This oil-burner will churn out around 90 PS of power and more than 200 Nm of torque. It will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox with an off-road capable 4x4 drivetrain system and a low-ratio transfer case. MG Astor
MG Motor India will soon launch its new mid-size SUV in the Indian market. The all-new MG Astor will slot below the MG Hector and upon its launch, it will be the most affordable car from Morris Garages on sale in the country. The MG Astor might be offered with two petrol engines in India. It might get a 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that churns out 120 PS of power and 150 Nm of torque. MG might also offer the 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine that churns out a whopping 163 PS of power and 160 Nm of peak torque. VW Taigun
Volkswagen India will launch the new VW Taigun in India on September 23, 2021. The new VW Taigun gets two BS6 compliant turbo petrol engines. The first one is a 1.0-litre TSI that churns out 115 PS of max. power and 175 Nm of torque. The other one is a more powerful 1.5-litre TSI that pumps out 150 PS of maximum power and 250 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and while the 1.0-litre TSI also gets a 6-speed AT, the new 1.5-litre TSI gets a 7-speed DSG too. Finally, the last car on this list is the Audi e-tron GT. The bookings for the all-new Audi e-tron GT are now officially open in India and one can book this electric car by paying a token amount of Rs 10 lakh. The new Audi e-tron GT will be launched in India on September 22, 2021. The new Audi e-tron GT gets two electric motors, one on each axle. This electric car develops 476 PS of maximum power and 630 Nm of peak torque. The new Audi e-tron GT can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds and it has a top speed of 245 kmph. Also, it gets a large 85kWh lithium-ion battery and has a claimed range of 487 kms on a single full charge. The company will also launch the more powerful Audi e-tron GT RS at the same launch event in India.
