Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is all set to launch its flagship electric SUV, Ioniq 5 in India. It's anticipated that the SUV would debut at the 2023 Auto Expo and be on display. The brand has previously disclosed information regarding its platform and features. Now, the brand has announced its booking dates. Beginning on December 20, interested customers can make bookings for the upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 5.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Details
The upcoming Hyundai Ioniq 5 will be built on brand's E-GMP platform. The signature design language will consist parametric pixel LED headlamps, R20 alloy wheels, vision roof rail and other design elements. With the Ioniq 5 Hyundai is focusing on sustainability and the material used in the EV SUV is sustainable material. The EV will use bio-paint, eco-processed leather, eco-friendly fabric and more.
The Ioniq 5's interior is nothing short of a beauty, and it will be quite beautifully furnished with some segment-first features. The large, simple dashboard is will enhance the overall interior look. There will be a big panoramic sunroof which the brand calls the Vision Roof, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a 12.3-inch driver display, wireless charging, head-up display, and other features. The EV will also include a magnetic dashboard and a drawer type glove box.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Battery Details
If we talk about range and battery details, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 will come with a 58 kWh battery pack will power the 125 kW motor, with a claimed range of 384 kilometres on a single charge. A single-motor, rear-wheel-drive configuration will produce 168 bhp of power and 350 Nm of maximum torque On higher variants, the IONIQ 5 might be offered with a battery that is 72.6 kWh and go up to 480 km.
The Hyundai IONIQ 5's high-speed electric motor performs admirably, with a top speed of 185 km/h. Users may also profit from Ultrafast Charging with E-GMP, which can charge an Ev up to 80% in 18 minutes.
