Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch its new electric brands, the XEV & BE on 26 November. The brand is set to unveil the first production-spec models for both brands and teased two upcoming electric SUVs ahead of the official launch date. Mahindra XEV 9e & BE 6e

The upcoming all-electric Mahindra SUVs will be underpinning the INGLO platform. This new platform is a ground-up platform made specifically for electric vehicles. The brand claims that this platform will offer better safety standards, efficiency, and impressive range, and will offer a multi-sensory driving experience.

The first two models of this platform to enter production and to be launched are the XEV 9e which is the electric coupe version of the XUV 700. Previously, this was named XUV e9. The second model will be from the BE lineup which will be a new Born Electric lineup and the first model of the lineup will be the BE 6e.

The recently released teaser has shown similarities with the concept model. The test mule of both models has been spotted on the test multiple times. Both the XEV 9e and BE 6e will boast a coupe-like styling and connected LED lights at the front and rear. On the features front both the SUVs are expected to get a triple-screen setup, a new two-spoke steering wheel, automatic climate control, big glass roof among other features.

Verdict

We've seen multiple spy shots of the upcoming Mahindra electric vehicles and now the brand is all set to launch two of them on 26 November. The upcoming Mahindra electric vehicles are expected to offer good range, features, and an all new styling. The upcoming BE 6e will rival with the Tata Curvv EV and the XEV 9e will compete with the upcoming Tata Harrier or Safari EV.
