Maruti eVX Spotted: Interiors Reveals New Details
The upcoming Maruti eVX was spotted parked alongside the road with a Hyundai Venue right next to it. While the exterior and the visuals have been a highlight in past spy shots, this time its the interior that peeks out giving out major scoops on what is to come. Although the cabin is tried to be concealed, we get a good enough idea about it.
The cabin as seen in the images is a roomy place to be. It has an EV-centric interior with a rotary drive mode selector and a wide center console with a big floating infotainment screen. The steering wheel gets a 2-spoke oval geometry with a flat bottom with media controls and cruise control settings housed on both spokes. While the dashboard seems blacked out, you can notice the dual-tone black and brown seat upholstery.
The second-row seating looks spacious enough for passengers with a flat floor without any transmission tunnel adds to the overall practicality. The rear AC vents can be clearly seen and are likely to be housed with USB-C charging ports. Other expected features include a 360-degree camera, ADAS, HUD, wireless charging pad, dual-zone climate control, ventilated seats, and more.

Battery And Range
The eVX is expected to boast a robust 60 kWh battery, claiming an expected 500- 550 km range on a full charge. Additionally, an alternative variant equipped with a smaller 48 kWh battery is expected, offering a range of approximately 400 km on a full charge.
It will rival the likes of the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, Harrier EV, and other EV SUVs. About its expected price, it could loom somewhere around the Rs. 20 lakhs - Rs. 25 lakhs price bracket.
Verdict
Maruti is betting heavily on the eVX as it will be the first of its kind from the brand. It is Maruti Suzuki's official entry into the EV space in the Indain market and the efforts are to brimm-up the vehicle in whaichever way they can. Be it range, features, or just the outright aesthtics, it is poised to be a serious contender in its segment.
