During its annual conference, Volkswagen India presented a sizable number of new concept products to the media. The Trail Adventure Edition of the brand's SUV Taigun is one of the concept special editions it has shown. The new edition distinguishes itself from the regular versions with a number of cosmetic upgrades, more equipment, and other improvements. Volkswagen Taigun Trail Adventure Edition
The new model on display at the event is painted Candy White and has Trail-inspired body graphic lines on the back fender and rear door. The Trail badge is also on the fuel tank cap. Similar lines are added to the SUV's C-pillar, which complements the SUV's white colour. Infinity LED headlamps, black ORVMs with red accents, roof foil, 16-inch alloy wheels coated in black, functional roof rails, and a Trail emblem at the rear are additional exterior highlights.
The Trail edition's interior has textured trunk sill garnish, Trail leatherette seat coverings, black coloured door garnish and other aesthetic upgrades. A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless mobile charging, a reverse parking camera, auto headlamp with cornering function, automated climate control, red ambient lighting, 3D floor mats, a leatherette steering wheel with multi-function buttons, and other goodies will be included.

Volkswagen Taigun Trail Edition Engine Specifications
The Taigun Trail Edition will be available with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine which produces 148 bhp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. It will feature a 6-speed manual transmission only.
Verdict: The Taigun's new Trail Adventure Edition will help the company better position its SUVs in the mid-size SUV market.
