Yamaha FZ-S Hybrid - Coming Soon
Yamaha FZ-S is very popular in the segment, known for its muscular design and advanced features on offer. Carrying forward the trend, Yamaha has unveiled the hybrid version of the FZ-S at the ongoing Auto Expo 2025. Visually, the bike remains the same apart from the LED indicators being placed in the faux air vents. The Hybrid version gets an Integrated Starter Generator(ISG), which helps in providing a slight boost to the performance. The existing model is powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which churns out 12.4 hp and 13.3 Nm of torque. Due to the additional ISG system, you can expect a slight bump in these power figures Additionally, it gets two more new features: start/stop and silent start.
When it comes to features, the hybrid version is likely to get a TFT display along with Bluetooth connectivity. It boasts several other features, including call/notification alerts, music playback control, and navigation.
When to expect?
While the current version is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the standard variant and Rs 1.31 lakh (ex-showroom) for the DLX variant. This FZ-S Hybrid is expected to sit a little higher than the ongoing model due to the infused hybrid tech. Moreover, Yamaha can launch the hybrid version in the upcoming festive season.
